This new exciting book addresses the newly released Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, (T.E.K.S.) for elementary PE. They have been analyzed and organized by sport. The lessons are formatted for kindergarten & first grade, and then different lessons for 2nd & 3rd, as well as lessons for 4th & 5th grade. 
Under each lesson plan there are detailed teacher's notes to assist teachers in teaching that lesson. This helps new teachers as well as veteran teachers. 
Health lessons are also included that have short YouTube clip links that help the teacher discuss that topic as well as some and games used to teach health and nutrition.
